My first post

There would be a certain amount of satisfaction in astonishing my kids by having a blog and learning all kinds of neat tools. I think I was on Facebook before any of them, when a friend in Colombia egged me on (because her kids got her to do it). And the challenge of adding to the list of SELCO Board members who participated is good motivation.

Mostly, though, I love to learn something new, so here we go.
